Ronald D. Reed wrote members of Congress asking them to examine whether expanded lethal removal of seals and sea lions will actually produce measurable recovery of wild salmon populations. The letters call for stronger scientific monitoring, clearly defined recovery outcomes, and serious consideration of the many human caused pressures affecting salmon survival.
